This is how long ago I took these pics...back in October I had the chance to shoot the Pfizenmaier family. A funny story about this family is that the kids only call me "Crazy Michelle"...if they see me in the grocery store...they run up and call me "Crazy Michelle". Maddie and Emma always come and give me a hug but Sir Issac likes to mess with me. We had such a great time taking these photos and let me tell you...they have some of the most beautiful blue eyes I have ever seen.

Yeah...I know...it has been way, way, way too long since I have posted. Life has been sooo crazy but that should not be an excuse...but...it is. I wanted to go back to Nov / Dec and show you some of the families that allowed me to take their photos during the holiday season...this first family is none other than the Ohlde's. What is going on my fellow readers? Life has been so crazy as I bet it has been for everyone during the start of this holiday season. I just got back from a 2 week trip to China and believe me...I took a lot of pics. I can't wait to show you everything! It was totally a once in a lifetime experience but it made me so glad to be here in the US and to have the things that we do...we are sooo lucky.

Anyway...before I left I had a photoshoot with Mr. Braylon...talk about the most amazing eyes you have ever seen. We had a great time and we got some great photos.

I hope everyone one has a great weekend and let's cheer on the Cats! I think it would be awesome to get to go to the Big 12 Championship in Arlington, TX!!!

Happy TGIF to everyone...man did it take a long time to get to the weekend. Here is another Sr. photo shoot that I did a couple of weeks ago in Alma, KS. Gail Zeak & I traveled out there to take photos of Jill. Let me tell you one thing about Jill...if you would tell her to stay on this side of the line...she won't. Her style is just amazing & I had a great time! Jill is actually up for Homecoming tonight...so, I wish her the best of luck. Let's hope that those Chargers finally win a game...hahahaha!

Well...it has been almost a month & a half since I have been on my blog...that is horrible! I am very sorry to those of you who check here every week thinking maybe, just maybe Michelle made a new post. That day is finally here!!!

The summer came and went...as it did for everyone. It is just amazing how May is here and there is excitement in the air for summertime and then we are already in September...Football season! And just think Hobby Lobby has a crazy stock of X-mas decor everywhere you look.

I did have the amazing opportunity to have some great photo sessions this summer...here is a taste of some of those sessions. Hopefully, I can keep the ball rolling and do a post for each of these shoots.

About a month ago I had the chance to take pictures of mr.cooper and he was just precious. We were also able to get mom and dad in on the photos...I do believe that they turned out great! Since I don't have a studio to take pictures...I used my garage...can you say ghetto. However...that is where the best lighting is and it worked. I have to give some credit to Lance for helping me clean the garage and for keeping the yard so nice...which is used in a few pics. I want to thank miss Sandy for giving me the opportunity to take their families pics. I enjoyed the whole experience!

Hey...long time no talk right...things have been a bit crazy. Miss Caylyn is doing much better and was able to come home from the hospital last Friday. She had some sort of infection and was in need of liquids. By Thursday night...I think the nurses were even ready for Caylyn to go home...she was feeling much better & was being very loud that night! I wonder where she gets that from...Jaclyn maybe?

I know that alot of you were thinking and praying for my family & I truly do appreciate that...more than any of you will every know! Much Love!

Plus...I have some too cute photos to show you...mr.cooper came to my door step about 3 weeks ago asking me to take some pics. Of course...I did...more to come...

2 years ago, on this day, I had to honor of becoming Mrs. Michelle Lynn Langvardt...To be honest I can't think of many moments in my life that don't involve Lance. He was in the last class that my mother taught at Garfield school, he broke up with me on Valentine's Day in 6th grade [I will never let him live that one down], and he was there for me all through High School & College. Lance and I have been together since we were 15 years old...man that is a long time...not to sound all lovey dovey but I can't imagine life without him!

Lance...thanx for an amazing 2 years & a lifetime more! Luv ya!

Funny story...my boss has taken a new job as the President of the University of Idaho and we are planning a farewell reception for him next week. We decided to make a scrapbook for him of all the departments that report to him...well needless to say my office went to the extreme. We decided to take some "FUN" photos of the Provost Staff to put on our page!

If you scroll down you will see our two students that work in the Provost office...Michael and Baylee. [Please know that there is in no way a romantic relationship between the two...that is why it is hilarious to see them like this].

On a side note...there are two baby showers tomorrow...one for Miss Bridgette Rankin and one for Miss Nicky Fletcher...be on the look out for those photos next week.

Shannon Sewell Mentoring Session...

Here is one of many posts that will show pics from the Shannon Sewell Mentoring Session. Gail and I told Shannon that we really liked "grunge" areas. The type of picture that you can capture in those settings are just amazing...which is the style that I love love love to shoot. Shannon was able to find this place down from the University of Portland that was just covered in graffiti. Artists were there working on pieces...now work like that is just amazing. I kid you not...this one guy did a whole wall full of art in like 2 hrs...[you will see this later on].

We had two amazing "models" with us that day...they did so good, we got them ice cream from the DQ afterwards. This mentoring session taught me so much and I am so thankful I had the opportunity to do this. Thanx Miss Shannon & Miss Gail!

On March 7th...Bridgette Rankin and I had a meet & greet baby shower for Mr. Brecken Gilkison McGuire [Baby to Miss Megan "Williams" McGuire]. The shower was sooo much fun and it was great to see everyone. It had been forever and a day since my friends from High School had gotten together. We even decided to go out to lunch where we spent about 2 hours just talking...

Today I had the honor to attend Linda Bowersox's funeral...Some of you may not know her but she was an amazing friend, wife, and mother. The wedding that I was apart of in January was for Linda's daughter, Janel. Janel and I have become great friends and I truly feel that God brought us together for a reason. Linda has been fighting breast cancer as long as I have known her [and then some]...and I feel like Janel & I were put together...to help each other during this tough time.

So...today is kind of a sad day...my dear friend, Lindsay, has a new job and is moving to Denver. But...the fun part...we are all going to KCMO to celebrate her big move! I am sooo happy for Lindz and I wish her the best.

Background: Lindz, Cara and I were roommates in College...I have to say that the best memories from my life [so far] involve both of them! They are the greatest friends and I am sooo lucky to have them in my life.

So...tonight...I will raise a glass [or 2] for my dear friend Lindz and wish her a safe journey. Don't worry I will come to Denver anytime! Love ya!

I have some exciting news to pass on...last night at 10:19 pm...Mr. Brecken Gilkison McGuire was born. [Megan"Williams"McGuire is a new mommy] He weighed 6lbs 14oz / 20 in long...and Megan says he is just precious!

I don't have a picture of Brecken but I do have a photo of the bump [before Brecken came out]...Megan had me take a few shots of her and the little bump...we had such a great time. Hopefully...I will post more once Megan approves them! [Thanx to Bridgette for being my assistant that day...you are great!]

So...it is Friday and I am sooo excited. I do not have any pictures to post just yet on my blog. On Wednesday night I took some photos of the Clay Center High School Drill Team and then this weekend I going to Wamego to take photos at a wedding...kind of as a side shooter! So...next week will be a crazy week of photos and I can't wait.

So...last weekend Gail and I had a mini photo shoot. Gail had found like the coolest spot to take "Grunge" Photos...which are our favorite. We took photos of Julia, Gail's daughter and our student worker, Michael with his gurlfriend Ashley. Oh...I can not forget our helper, Miss Kelly.

On this day... 15 years ago, I lost someone very special to me...it is amazing how in such a small amount of time together someone could teach me soooo much. My mother was a wonderful woman, a great teacher and an amazing mom! Today... I would just ask that all of you be sooo thankful for your mother and what she does for you...and always remember to live each day to the fullest!

Alright...here are a few pics to start off our trip to Vegas...I will post more at the end of this week. Lance & I had a great time...we went and saw Carrot Top at the Luxor...HILARIOUS! I think the best part was the SHOPPING...we went to the Las Vegas Premium Outlets and had a great time. To be honest, the shopping was my gambling and I won everytime...hahahaha!

So, I have some bad news... Lance and I are going to Vegas for a few days and there will be no new blogs for a short bit. I have to be honest...we are sooo excited to go! I can not wait to take pictures in Vegas so be ready for that blog!

Matt & Cara's Wedding

On July 3rd my dear friends Matt & Cara were married in Wamego, KS. Their photographer was Jason Domingues out of Prairie Village, KS and I have to say that his pictures are totally sick. Ever since Cara & Matt decided on him to be the photographer...I have been a blog stalker...if you would like to check out his amazing photos go to his blog site on MY FAVS over on the side.

I was able to try out my new camera at the wedding and here are a few of my favorite shots...take note of the "m" in the corner of the pictures....hopefully this will be my new tattoo...right Norma! A little background info...we took pictures out on a dirt road maybe 10-15 miles south of Wamego...it was A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!

So...this last weekend we had some guests staying at our home...

my dear nephew & nieces...

Well...Jaclyn and Luke celebrated their 5th Wedding Anniversary so...to be a nice sister...I was able to keep 2 of the children (aka Caylyn & Kylie) while Mr. Blaine got to stay at Grandma & Grandpa Pfizenmaier's.

A good time was had by all but I feel that it was a good dose of birth control for Lance & I.

Alright everyone....it is official... I have started a blog & I am soooo excited! This being my "1st" posting I thought I should tell a little about myself.... Funny...Sassy...Crazy...these three words describe so much about me. I love to have a good time and I try not to worry about the little things. I live in Clay Center, KS with my husband of 1 yr, Mr. Lance Alan Langvardt and if some of you don't know Lance... have you ever heard the song"Opposites Attract" by Paula Abdul...that is my relationship. Now...don't get my wrong....I would not change a thing! We are like Yin & Yang and it is great! Not to get all emotional but he is the love of my life and I new that in 6th grade when he dumped me on Valentine's Day...hahahaha! That is enough about me for now...I am sure over time you will learn more and more.
